Up today is Jess & Bryans super fun, alternative wedding at Kings Weston House, Bristol. I actually met Jess whilst I was at University (UWE). We both took the same course where rather than write a dissertation, you write a business plan. Mine was on wedding photography of course and Jess's was on a cake business (wait until you see the wedding cake she made!). So when Jess first enquired I already knew it was definitely going to be an awesome laid back wedding!

Being an alternative wedding photographer based in Essex however I have noticed there is still some sense of stereotyping that goes on. I’ve heard people say that they wanted “XY&Z” but couldn’t find the suppliers, or the venue suggested they do this that way, or florist didn’t understand the concept they wanted and ultimately gave in to tradition… I’m here to tell you can totally cut up that rule book, flick away that sterotype and have the day that YOU want, especially in Essex!
