Jess & Bryan - Kings Weston House

Alternative Wedding at Kings Weston House, Bristol

Up today is Jess & Bryans super fun, alternative wedding at Kings Weston House, Bristol. I actually met Jess whilst I was at University (UWE). We both took the same course where rather than write a dissertation, you write a business plan. Mine was on wedding photography of course and Jess's was on a cake business (wait until you see the wedding cake she made!). So when Jess first enquired I already knew it was definitely going to be an awesome laid back wedding!

I need to start off by saying, wow, Jess & Bryan thought of all of the entertainment to keep everyone entertained and involved throughout the day, from bouncy castles, to hook a duck, space jumpers to a shisha tent! As well as that they had a chief brides dog to lead everyone down the asile (more dogs at weddings please!) They DIY'd a lot and it just goes to show how you can do lots yourself to make your wedding totally you - I LOVE a DIY wedding so things like this are a dream for me!

They also opted to have a help yourself hog roast buffet with lots of salads, cous cous and buns and rather than a formal seating plan encouraged guests to mingle and sit wherever they wanted to. They also opted to ask guests to bring a sweet treat with them which made for a super impressive dessert table full of biscuits, cupcakes and cheesecakes - I can also vouch for how yummy everything was! Not only is this a great idea for keeping your budget down but it really gets your guests involved with your day!

As a total side note, having lived in Bristol for the 3 years whilst I was at uni I TOTALLY fell in love with the city and love going back any opportunity I can - So if you're planning a Bristol wedding then be sure to get in touch!
