Wednesday Wares #1
So I've been thinking about my blog a little the past few days... I intended on having some kind of structure/schedule but in reality I'm definitely not that kind of person. I find that added pressure of having to do things in order just stresses me out more, I prefer to write about whatever I feel like - whether that being an advice post, a real wedding, my afternoon tea adventures etc. I'll obviously be posting my work but I want to also still make this MY blog and have elements of me and my interests too. One thing I'm really big on is supporting other business owners, particularly independent and local businesses so I've decided that every Wednesday (or most Wednesdays I should say) I'll be sharing things I find on Etsy/Not On The High Street etc for you in a series i'm calling *drumroll* WEDNESDAY WARES (super original I know!) so heres #1!
At the moment I'm completely obsessed with pins & patches and this 'Something Blue' by Liz Harry is awesome! This would perfect to pin onto the ribbon of your bouquet , if you have a cardi or leather jacket (ultra cool points) or even onto your actual dress! I think this is a totally out of the box but on trend idea for something blue tradition.
Next up are these super cool 'Bride Tribe' mirrors by Joanne Hawker. These would make an awesome favour at any hen party or for bridesmaid gifts the morning of your wedding. They come in a wide variety of colours and you can even blag a discount the more you buy!
I LOVE these hankies! These are perfect for the groomsmen, bridesmaids, your nan, your mum or even as an alternative favour idea for all your guests (I'm thinking you could frame them as a little keepsake!) Your initials are hand embroidered inside a pastel perfect heart. Joanna has lots of awesome handkerchief and bowties among other cool things over on her Etsy shop!
*Confession: I'm a serious nail biter so i'm lovingly admiring these in the hope I'll ever grow my nails to a decent length!
These nail decals are super cute!! If you're not a fan of the traditional french mani and want something a little different then check out these nail decals by KimsNailedIt. There's a range of different designs including PEOPLE! You could totally get your significant other as your wedding day nail decals... You know you're thinking it!
Last but definitely by no means least is this awesome Dixie bow veil by Crown and Glory. I've been a long time fan and supporter of Crown and Glory for well over 5 years now and every time I see a new product I'm blown away by Sophies talents! These veils are super cute and are perfect for anyone, bride or guest!
Do you have any fave Etsy or independent shops you love? I love finding more so be sure to leave a comment! In the mean time I'll be on the look out for things to share next week!
