Bright Boho Wedding Inspiration

Bright & Colourful Boho inspiration shoot, Essex

Way back last year myself and Claire from Luxurious Glitter organised a styled shoot at Tey Brook Orchard (a Browning Bros venue) in Essex. I was seeing lots of boho inspiration around but everything was terracotta and peach, whilst it was incredibly beautiful it just wasn’t very us, and I know theres a lot of colourful boho lovers out there so we decided to change that!

I’d seen some jewellery by Sadie in a Facebook group and was obsessed with the colourful fun nature, particularly a banana bracelet and parrot earrings so I used these as our starting point for a colour palette and it all came together super well on the day.

We split the shoot into 4 main sections, laid back bridal portraits with smoke bombs, a ceremony set up, an inside reception area with outside graze & chill out area, and finally glitter & cake because those were 2 important elements to us!

Emma was our amazing model for the day, she brought so much energy and was so much fun to hang out with and photograph!

Lucy Can’t Dance loaned us 3 beautiful dresses which suited all different themes for the day. Luna Vision, Spiders from Mars & Dynamite.

Anthology Vintage Hire provided us with all the furniture you see, including the beautiful Peacock chairs, rugs and cushions.

Wilderness Prop hire supplied the amazing Macrame backdrop and frame as well as lots of colourful glass and candlestick holders.

Rose Decor Styling created a floral masterpiece - I basically told her I wanted a lot of colour and to go big or go home, and she delivered! I’m obsessed with everything she made, included the real flower crown!

Jo Gross Painted this incredible denim jacket, I knew I wanted the Queen lyrics “Crazy Little Thing called Love” and a tropical theme and Jo did the magic!

Browning Bros are my favourite Essex venue so I knew Tey Brook would be the perfect setting for the vibe I had in mind!
